Titles in the Works:
Plan A
Novel
This Chick Lit must-read cradles a heavy topic: abortion. It addresses controversial issues in an easy tone, blending realism with romance and humour.
Throughout the night I re-acquaint myself with old high school friends, some with spouses now, some with babies, and some never wed or paired. That’s the category I fall into. I think I’m ready for a drink. I excuse myself from the current group discussion about work, and walk myself over to the bar.
“Cosmopolitan”, I say to the barwoman, passing her my drink stub.
A woman in a red dress next to me turns to read my nametag, and I read hers.
“Tracey Carrey”, she says with a smile. “I remember you.”

What's Eating Virginia Woolfe
Novel
This complex Historic Fiction novel blends fact with fiction in a compelling allegory of spiritual evolution. Heavily inspired by a dream I had, it delves into politics, religion, secret societies and past celebrity authors.
Fighting Cravings
Novel
A hilarious diary-styled story about a single girl battling her major sweet tooth. These cravings for sweets become cravings for the sweet new man she's paired up with at a mutual friend's wedding. Too long absent from the dating scene and too accustomed to her single lifestyle, she resisists him, too. How long can she keep fighting cravings before she puts her oven mitts down and makes peace with sweet temptation?
This Chick Lit novel involving passion for food and the awkward first stages of a love connection is funny, romantic and delicious!
POETRY
And just like that we disappear...
Like we never were together.
New age dating rituals:
Cease from me forever.
To try to beat love at its game
Is one for those not clever.
This generation runs from love to love
In vain endeavor.

Birds, Bees and Butterflies
Short Story
This short story has been termed "disturbing", "haunting" and "complex" by editors.
Caption:
The flattened backyard grass still held the schema of my body beneath the butterfly carcass when that neighbour, senior in years to my own father, directed me to retrieve from his house my toy ball that had accidentally rolled into his backyard. I fearfully but quietly obliged, for the sake of whichever sibling of mine would alternately be sought. But this meant entering his house - a first for anyone I had known - without mention to my parents. Walking to his doorway, we passed by his dog, Nicky, whom I had always recognized as a quiet dog, obedient and wide-eyed, like me.
Inside, the home was very similar to mine. We walked down the narrow stairway that led to the basement; or did he carry me down? I can’t remember. Had I gone multiple times? The memories are hazy. In the dim basement, he lifted and placed me on a neglected wooden shelf that contained a box of tools and toys. Balls that he’d collected. I sat quietly. Trustingly. Behaving.
