Moody and Majestic

The moon is beautiful tonight
Moody and majestic
Spotted by its own light
In case you missed it
Head's up to the sky
Mine's the bow
My draw drops at the sight
Of the moon hung low
The lower it falls
The stronger it seems
The closer it gets
The more my face beams
I cannot look away from it
I pull over to gaze
I follow the halo
Surrounding its haze
And though it is a crescent moon
I could not stand to see it all
For as an ancient ruin
I can't contain its awe
So as it nears me in my life to let me glance upon it
So I am humbled by its sight & the mighty Hand that spawned it
Creator of the universe,
How can I boast to know You
When I'm so taken by a tiny portion of your moon?
