The joys of life Are in knowing Life Is a gift forever And life On this earth is temporary... A temporary feast Where we choose what to eat As a new Adam, not as Woman or her Adam of old... The joy of the journey Is in knowing Life here brings us there Where The gift-giver Can receive us; So receive him, o Lord, in your embrace Who has suffered (Who has not suffered?) And show, Lord, The beauty of the journey To eternity, That the families left behind Can be comforted too In the essence of The Embrace And in turn chase their own burdens For eternity prevails.
